Dwight started to do research as a high school student in the Ferguson Laboratory for Spine and Orthopaedic Research. After graduating from Point Park University majoring in Education with a BS degree in 2020, he came back to the Ferguson Lab to continue his research on the role of cellular senescence in aging biology of the intervertebral disc. He is now a MS candidate in the Infectious Disease and Microbiology program at the University of Pittsburgh.
